2nd PacAIR Annual Meeting
September 29-30th, 2008
The profession of institutional research continues to change in response to current trends in higher education. Increasing pressure for accountability requires greater understanding of the assessment, program review and accreditation processes. At the same time, the development and implementation of increasingly sophisticated information systems require greater depth of understanding of information system design as well as the continual acquisition and application of technical skills. As institutional research begins to mature as a profession, practitioners are called upon to bring considerable resources to bear on these important issues and to raise the visibility of institutional research within the higher education culture. Join us as we initiate a new era of cooperation and collegiality for institutional research among the higher education institutions of Hawai‘i and the Pacific!
